well i have to admit , after seeing k hops shop…i felt like was in a slump….but gave it though and my senses returned to me, i have been blessed with a 20×30 stand alone shop…...outfitted with high quality tools and plenty of room…and a lot of salvaged wood…, but one thing that happened while seeing his shop ..inspired me to try and make the most use out of the square footage that i have,,,which is 600sf…...pluse outside storage for wood.., but its the inside i want to focus on..will try to rearrange inside so i get the most out if it….that is what i got from k hops…...if you didn’t see his shop..take some time and tour it…...its a very nice work space,,,thanks k hop for rattling my cage , so to speak….i hope you others will try to maximize the areas you have so that the inspiration you need will come…i think a clean organized shop inspires one to be creative and when the work begins..being able to find your tools when wanted makes the flow of work go smoothly…...give it a try…...also having a refrigerator filled with the proper refreshment is required….how many of us have a refrigerator in the shop..and what do we keep in it…....is it drink…food snacks…or the big boys, like sandwich meat…....or TV dinners…....if so i might need to give a gourmet tutorial on proper fridge etiquette so lets speak out folks..GRIZZMAN….....if you want a food tutorial …then speak up here…i have some great ideas …especialy for the holidays…....
“i think a clean organized shop inspires one to be creative” But Grizzman, look at Einstien’s office or the famous barrel maker, Harry Pope’s shop; the grand masters work from a clutter :-))

Grizz, You know what they say… “A neat desk is the sign of a sick mind.” I suspect that applies to the workshop also. I’m not sure what that says about Khop! Unfortunately, my little workshop is shared with a car and I have to clean up after myself and get the car in there (house rules)! It does force me to use every inch of storage I can find! Ellen

Thanks ALOT Ellen ! I can’t afford therapy too. The shop is where I get my sanity. If I am CRAZY, Just leave me alone in my shop. Oh yea, and keep the frig full. Grizzman, I’m not sure you are helping me here. KHOP
