I built my last projects with a borrowed delta table saw. I have a cheap 10” that I use for doing wood floor rips… the fence wobbles and it is mostly made of plastic but for wood floors it is fine because all cut ends are covered with trim.

I need to have a modular saw that works well because I will need to make consistent straight rips without a lot of blade wobble. Any ideas? Have you used anything that you really like?

thanks for the help

teejay have you checked out the reviews here? I realize this is quite an old post but I was wondering if you’d found your saw yet?

I was able to find an R4511 ridgid on clearance for $299. Killer saw at a killer price.

Nice buy on a nice saw….congrats. Put a good blade on it, and get it aligned well, and it’ll do all you’ll ever need.
