They have a coupon on-line to get 1/3 off all power tools this week.

Are the tools torque wrenches, air hammers and jacks? LOL

Karson, Canadian Tire actually has a small selection of power tools for woodworking… If nothing else, I’m sure the drills are included in the sale!

Now why couldn’t they have the sales on the router bits or saw blades?? I can always use more of those.

wow… yes, indeed.. time to find all the CT money stuffed into drawers!

I was in the other day to see if they had a little lathe—they did last year, but i didn’t see one this visit. That would have been a great surprise for Rick when he got home from hunting on the weekend!!

Maybe I should call around to some other stores and see if they have one!

Actually Karson they do actually carry a pretty decent selection of power hand tools and smaller stationary ones. They carry Dewalt, Hitachi, makita, delta, Bosch, etc

They have their own “house brand” called Mastercraft and Mastercraft Maximum. To me the home brand looks a lot like Bosch.

I don’t know what the % is that you get back with every purchase. I do know that you don’t get the CT money if you put purchases on a non-CT credit card.

have you guys seen the latest Canadian Tire commercial? Haha.
A bunch of guys (all different occupations I think) – I never catch the first of the commercial.. but they gather, the glory music plays, one man drops to his knees in awe… they stare blissfully and longingly at….............

the double garage opens to display “Man’s heaven” or something like that. The garage is filled with every tool you’d ever need. I think of LJ.com every time I see it.
