I have two craftsman 1.5 hp routers and the craftsman bushing kit. my problem is that none of the baseplates fit the bushings. What am i needing to get this thing to work so i can use the craftsman dovetail jig. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Universal baseplate, I got mine from Hartville tools for my 2 1/2 hp Craftsman router. This same baseplate also fits my old Skil router. Any of the woodworking suppliers (Rockler, Eagle America, etc…) carries these. Mine was about $30 but was well worth it especially since the base for my Skil is no longer available.

Oh by the way its clear which makes seeing what your doing much easier.
Hope that helps.

You could make your own base plate out od plexi glass, much the same way you would make a insert for a router table.
