Topic tags/keywords: freebie

Over the years I have signed up for freebies from different companies for sample saw blades and such. A few weeks ago I got an email from Irwin Industrial asking me to take a survey. I completed thier survey about tool packaging and then just forgot about it. Look what I found on the porch this afternoon. I really do like FREE tools.

Nice piece of compensation papadan.

Since you opened the door… A brief word to fellow LJs…

Many of us have a power, knwledge and authority we may not realize.
We are rarely bothered by telephone marketers of any kind, but whenever one is able to sneak through we are as happy as pigs in shoot and cooperative and helpful more than the caller could ever imagine.

After the soliciter goes through their awkward, scripted spiel we confirm beyond their expectations by confirming we will stay on the phone all night long and answer each and every one of their questions.

LJs are smart.

How do we do this?

I don’t do phone soliciters (sp) but email surveys for reputable companies I don’t mind at all.

freebies are great, even if they are junk. At least then you know not to spend your money on them.

I’ve tried that and never had any luck getting freebies. I’m going to go in the corner and powt for a while. Maybe that will help….......................LOL

Price is great, but too bad that clamp isn’t a little bigger :-))
