WOW today was a kick in the face. Yesterday I had gotten a good deal for satellite so I took it and they came over and installed it all including putting up the dish in my backyard. So all goes well and this morning my wife looks out our back window and notices that the installer left his cordless milwaukee (hammer) drill in our back yard and the second she told me i started gettin ecxited like it was my personal xmas. so i went and grabbed it and stashed it in my shop so i could take a look at it later. Couple hours later, the installer pulls up knockin on my door and right there my day is bummed. I knew what he wanted so i had to go grab it out of its home and give it back to to careless owner. Like I said, it was such a tease >:(

Couple years ago the local electrical utility company was out and working on the pole in my yard. After they left one of the kids saw the bright colored cordless just sitting on top of the pole. I wasn’t going to attempt the climb and get around the wires, so called them up and the truck came back.

Guess I’m old fashioned…I would have called them up. I know how I would feel if I took a finished piece to a clients house for onsite install and left a tool behind and they decided to just pocket it.

It’s not stealing but awful close
