I’m just wondering if you get flooded with Twits? It would seem like it. -- -Curt, Milwaukee, WI |

I follow LJ, and yes, there’s a lot of tweets. But I actually like it, especially if I’m limited for time. I’ve been able to check out a lot of the new projects that way when I normally wouldn’t have time. -- "The only thing that counts is faith, expressing itself in love." --Galatians 5:6 |

I agree with the Scotsman and Miles125. When I am in my workshop, the last thing I want is to be deluged with computer messages (how many letter carriers do you know who deliver mail in their spare time?). I work in the computer software industry … Twitter and the other ‘Social Networking” sites may be fine for some folks, but for most network administrators, they are the bane of our existance. A lot of companies just outright ban them. -- Gerry -- "I don't plan to ever really grow up ... I'm just going to learn how to act in public!" |

Well you don’t tweet while you’re in the workshop, at least I don’t. But it’s just another way of being notified of posts, just like you are via email. I’m leaning towards giving it a try, might drop NASA then. they tweet a lot, maybe just now though due to the current shuttle mission. So I might keep NASA and see if they clam down any. -- -Curt, Milwaukee, WI |

Funny , I was going to ask if anyone here was on Facebook….I’m Dusty FiftySix on there if you want to add me to your friends list. The only reason I joined Facebook was because someone here said that if you became a fan on Rocklers page , then you can get free shipping if you order your stuff through FB / Rockler online. -- When did quiet and quite become the same word ? I'm guessing about the same time as your and you're did. |

Free shipping might be worth it but I’m lucky to have a store nearby and if they don’t have what I want i buy it and it’s shipped to the store that way I don’t have to pay for shipping. -- -Curt, Milwaukee, WI |
