I purchased a rikon 70-220vrs today at Johnson’s Workbench Wood Expo. The deal was to good to pass up $525.00 was the show price. I have not seen it any less than $599.00 and it usually is priced at $649.00 which does not include shipping of 59 to 79 dollars. So I think I saved at least $186.00 today. Great place to go during the wood expo there are discounts on everything from ten to twenty percent. Exotic and domestic store boards were 20% off.

That looks like a really sweet lathe! Rikon seems to be making very good lathes these days. What kind of turning do you do?
