I bought a very old looking Tyzack nonparallel tenon saw for $2.00 at a flea market. The saw was in a pile of other saws I picked it up and put it back on the table. The vender said 2 bucks. So I came home with a rusty back saw. The next day I saw some markings on it and started looking at it more carefully. It is fairly dull needs to be sharpened. I like the way it feels in my hand as it cuts.
The blade has a very slight bow in the blade, but not the back just the blade. Not much, but it’s in the most used area of the blade.
How is a blade put back straight? Is the back removed to true the blade?
