Topic tags/keywords: question plane

I am shopping around for a Stanley 93 Rabbet plane. I plan to buy online and have found it at Woodcraft for about $125. Can you suggest any other sites that typically have good prices on hand tools. Thanks.

You might be able to find something on Craigslist or eBay.

I was looking for retail sites such as woodcraft and rockler. When a plane like this turns up on ebay they sell it more like an antique and the price can be quite a bit higher than a brand new model. I would really only be interested in a used one if I could save some money.

I have not had much luck with Craigslist either. A shoulder plane, especially a specific model, is a bit too specialized for this area. I do occasionally peruse just to make sure I am not missing out on something, but
I have had little luck in general.

Thanks for your suggestions.

$125? Just saying…,41182,48945,41182

Craftsman Studio has the UK version of the plane. Not sure if the woodcraft one is the same plane.
