hello everyone
i have a Hegner scroll saw i picked up used and i feel that there is way to much
vibration with it so i put some heavy foam door sealant under it. but when i turn
it on the table vibrates the most for some reason, but i think i figured it out?
with the saw off i can look at the blade and turn the cam by hand and when the
blade moves up it also moves to the left a considerable amount. at least a 1/16
of an inch.

so i dont know if an arm is bent or the eccentric plate is bent or what but some-
thing is wrong somewhere so i was curious if anyone has experience with this at all
or if you know what the problem could be?

i would like to get it fixed cause i think a scroll saw should run a lot smoother then
this one does so thanks for any help you can give!

I know this was a while ago but did you get this fixed? Is there actually bent pieces or perhaps they are just loose and need tightening? Maybe photos or a video of what is wrong may tweak someone’s memory of their repair of a similar problem.

Why not go to the factory representative for answers? Just Google the brand and you should be able to find them.
