What would you do if you are Professional Wood Worker or a Hobbyist, Wood Carver,
Scroll Sawyer, etc. if for some reason you could do what you enjoy the most. I
carve game birds and birds of prey. This subject came to mind as the last two weeks,
I had my house painted, there fore I couldn’t do any carving, that’s when I decided I
was addicted to my hobby of choice. Since I’m retired, I read a lot of books, drank
gallons of coffee, visited the Home Depot about four times and each time I went there
I purchased something I didn’t need, watched TV and decided that I hate Politicians
as that’s all the News talked about. So yesterday I returned to my addiction of choice
carving on a life size Morning Dove, wow, did that ever feel good.

So what would you do?

Turn off the damn TV for starters! Then Gather up my four legged shop assistants, head for the shop, & go to work on the scroll saw. Oh, & put some Bob Wills in the stereo!

Since I’m kinda sorta retired from our commercial business and have me a small shop outside the valley on some of our property which just happens to be 10 minutes from a cold water clear mountain lake loaded with bream. I think people other than Georgia may call them pan fish.

I have this thing about bream fishing as often as I can and sometimes I forget to make it as far as my shop especially when they’re on the bed. Some use worms I use crickets. My daughters were sorta brought up on that lake fishing with me on a regular basis. They like to go fly fishing for bream about sun up and late in the evenings when all the wealthy vacationers or either sleeping off a drunk or getting ready to have another party and get drunk all over again.

Any jocks that live in Georgia and want to take a kid fishing on a beautiful lake where the kid won’t get bored fishing and can catch fish send me a pm and I’ll give you the details on what when and how to catch bream on that lake.
