The free episodes on newyankee.com have started over from the beginning and so Norm is using tools that are more closely related to what most of us can afford. Kinda cool to watch.
Somehow I did not expect the "New Yankee Workshop" brand to completely shutdown. There is too much money to be made by continuing to sell plans and DVDs.
As for Norm, Gee I wish woodworking was that easy and quick. But, he is a good ambassador for beginners interested in woodworking to watch.
As for the DVDs that they sell, do they contain more footage than the TV show of the project?
i really enjoyed his drop leaf table episode. he uses a unisaw with the much maligned jet lock fence, which almost every amateur WW reviews quite harshly.
