You have to check these caskets out, they are so cool, looks like a sweet site too. no prices yet, but i guess you could call, well have a good one, and keep woodworking!!!

I agree with Charlie about the log casket. That one is certainly unique.

Those are great! So, now there’s going to be a rush of LJ’s looking for 6 ft. logs to carve out. Dang, my husband took the spalted maple to the dump! I think I’ll make mine in the shape of a canoe.

mmh, why carve it out. Burn it out as they did back in colonial days. Just have to control your fire – I’m not sure how they accomplished this.

If you are going to the trouble of carving it out. I would have to make it an exact fit Now I’m looking for a 6 foot log about 4 feet in diameter.
