I’m not sure if this is the correct forum to post this under, so move or delete if you must; I understand.

I’m looking for someone in Southwest Ohio, the Dayton, Ohio area, specifically, who can do some resaw work for me. I have a couple of pieces of really nice flamed maple that is about 1 inch thick and 8 inches wide and I’d like to get it re-sawn for book-matching. I don’t wanna have to pay for shipping, so I’d like to find someone local.

If you are someone that can do this, or know someone that can do this, please PM me contact information.

I’m not far away and I have a 12 inch bandsaw but I’ve never actually tried to resaw anything before. If you know how to do it you would be welcome to use my saw. I live just a bit north of Urbana.

Thanks Shane. I’ll PM you my phone number as we’ll talk.

I did get another response privately, so I’ll be following up that one as well.
