Topic tags/keywords: bentwood rings bentwood wooden rings ring inlays

Hello everyone, this is my first post! I’ve used this site quite a lot the past couple of years but have never made an account until right now. If my post Is In the wrong place I apologize.

Okay so, the past year I’ve been making, designing and up until recently selling my Bentwood rings on Etsy for some extra cash. I’m now at the point of wanting to Incorporate stone/precious metal wires into my rings. I’ve done my research and I’ve found a few methods of doing so but up until yet I haven’t attempted any, I was just wondering If anyone had any advice on how they add Inlays. I don’t have access to a Lathe so I will have to use files and other such tools.

Thanks In advance.

I recall watching an instructables on how to do it. I think the guy used a drill and a jig for it to make the rings. No need for a lath for that kind of project.
Here is a link.
