Looking for a handwheel for a General 160-2 (1” – 8 tpi). They don’t stock the part any more. Anyone have one??

Someone else just posted about a handwheel for their General 160 over at owwm. They contacted General and was told it would cost somewhere near $180 and they were out of stock… so they made their own out of HDPE. I imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult to make one out of wood either.

I saw this when researching a Moxon vise for myself. The guy made the handwheels out of his weights, 5 lb weights. He drilled and tapped out the center of the round weights, worked great for him.
