There is a woodcarvers show at Puyallup Fairgrounds, Red Gate, next weekend. Any of you WW (Water World, aka, Western Washington) LJs interested in meeting up down there?

Just saw this post.
I don’t get out much but that sounds like a good show. Bet there’s some good craftsmen around here.
To be clear that’s the 14th and 15th, right?
Sat. morning is not good for me but afternoon or Sunday is good.

Unfortunately for me I’m way to far away….Im just dabbling in carving (I’ve used the tools for years to add texture and designs to my work….but I am trying some “real” carving as an outlet when I can’t get into the shop…but would love to see a show….I know the folks from the little store that I bought my tools from – Littleshavers in WA – will be there…probably competing/showing also – they are a great couple…and really helpful to us ultra novices.

You guys have a good time…and take some pics if you could? Love to see the beautiful work some of those pros can turn out…

Beginning to look like there will only be 3 of us. Anyone else up to going? I emailed the promotor listed on the web. He said cameras are OK, hopefully we’ll get some good pics :-))
