Just in time for old man winter, the house furnace died. The service guy for Bryant came by and “Red Tagged”it due to a rusted out heat exchanger. we have over 4,000 sq ft of home not including the basement so we need a furnace that can crank out 90 to 100,000 BTU.

new Bryant high effienciency furnace, two stage…..............over 6,000
new Amana furnace (same as above) but with lifetime warrenty…....over 6,000

any experience out there with furnaces.

TIA

We bought a Trane last year though Home Depot. (98%) efficient)
With the custom (hoyme) damper for intake air and the power humidfier it came in at about $6000.00
there is a $1000.00 rebate from the feds toward that.
