I’ve got 1800 bf of rare spalted maple slabs that have been air-drying in my barn, some as long as three years, others cut recently. There are about fifty slabs that are 11 feet long and 2.5 inches thick, with widths varying from 11 inches all the way up to 22 inches. I’ve also got some monster slabs that are 8” thick and some unique larger pieces. All the wood has been locally cut using the sustainable guidelines of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. I’m willing to sell or trade for any shop sander, drill press, band saw, dovetail jig, router, snowblower, or any pro woodworking gear (planes, jigs, router bits, etc). These slabs can sell for $250-$300 but I’m willing to give big discounts to my fellow lumberjocks. I live in New Hamsphire and could be persuaded to deliver within 100-150 miles or so. |

Roper, I can cut timbers probably as thick as 20”x20”, maybe larger, although they would need to be dried. Some of these came from a 37” diameter giant maple from New Hampshire that was felled in 2006. I’ve got quite a varied lot, some of incredible size. I also have access to a loggers mill so any size can be custom cut, up to 22 ft long. I also have lots of hickory, cherry, and locust; probably several thousand board feet each, all in very beefy slabs. Here are some slabs of cherry I’m also willing to trade for: |

You really know how to make me envious, don’t you!!! Those are some gorgeous cherry slabs. I don’t know where I would even put a slab this big. -- Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful- Joshua Marine |
