I can understand the guy laughing. I must commend, though for your determination. You must be a person of great fortitude and drive. Keep fighting the good fight.

I was just thinking, anyone know of a good set of plans for a foot stool carrier design?

Think positively and get you a Small trailer. Load it up and have fun. Have faith and do not fear – it’s painted orange – maybe everyone will see you and nobody will run over you and spoil your load of lumber.

I would trade you a truckload of wood for the mini. My last car was a Honda AZ600 I kept it parked in the corner of the garage half way under my table saw. The saw wing came to the center of the windshield. I love me some little cars.

Hey diver, that isn’t my mini I just saw it when we were in Georgia and thought it was worthy of a picture.

That saddens me greatly, but if I had it I would have to build another go kart. Last one had a 600cc Honda engine in it, the next one will have a 1000cc or bigger one. It would fit nice in the back of the mini minus the kart would have 4 times the hp. Lots of giggles would be had.

My truck is about the same size

It makes the trip to Lowes, Home Depot, and Walmart quite often. It’s also been about 30 miles from home on several occasions. There’s usually several people looking at it when I come out of a store, and their standard comment is usually “What the h—- is that thing?”

If any of you would like to know, its a 1987 Cushman Truckster. It has a 22 hp air cooled 2 cylinder motor under the seat, 3 speed standard transmission with reverse, and it’s rated to carry 1/2 ton, although I haven’t figured out how to carry something that weighs anywhere near that in the bed which is 3’ X 3’. It will go about 35 mph max and gets about 80 mpg. The police consider it to be a golf cart, so it’s legal to operate on the secondary highways of North Carolina without a license plate or insurance.
