Hi Dave,,,,I also bought one. Do not know the model, but it is the 14” that free shippping sat and sun. Anyway, I don’t know if it has a stand or not. I thot it did. They wanted to add $125- on for the FREE SHIPPING. I called Woodcraft in San Antonio, they back ordered it, said to pick it up there last Friday. S A is only 60 miles from me here in Kerrville. I guess my answer 2 U would be,,,build a stand. That way it can be exactly right for our needs. -- RICH GRABLE |

Dave, So when I ordered that mobile base, it was on sale as well, at $25 off the regular price, not a bad deal. And it is still on sale to 25 Nov, good luck on which ever base you decide to go with. -- "You get what you inspect, not what you expect" |

I have that bandsaw. I have tried two different mobile bases and am unsatisfied with both. One of which was an HTC base. The bandsaw is very heavy. I recommend bolting the saw to a piece of 3/4 plywood and then the plywood to the base. But make sure that whatever base you get it can handle the weight. I bought another base for the saw, but haven’t had a chance to put it on the saw. pkennedy -- P Kennedy Crossville, TN |

I have that bandsaw, and have the mobile base 3fingerpat mentioned about : http://www.woodcraft.com/Product/2005114/8164/Universal-Mobile-Base-Hardware.aspx it works very well, moves swiftly, and had a very small foot print. -- When in doubt - There is no doubt - Go the safer route. |

Thanks to everyone who replied. As suggested, I did decide to skip the HTC & I did pick up the mobile base that’s $25 off at woodcraft yesterday. Shop rules #164 I literally have no place out in the shop for a 14” bandsaw…yet. Anoyne want a very used washer & dryer? Dave Willey |
