Topic tags/keywords: question

This is a popular TV show that shows how different things are made. I saw one the other night about how they make powder horns for gun powder. Pretty straight forward; the large end is closed and sealed and a small hole is drilled in the tip of the horn to serve as a spout. The question is: how do they put powder in the horn? The pouring spout seems too small to be used for filling.

On mine, the big end is a slip fit leather cap and it comes off with some persuasion.
