It’s on my to do list, hopefully before the nephew and his sister get too old. My objective is a rocking horse in that style.

Tom,
No saw needed, just an axe, a draw knife, maybe a froe, and some chisels. Then you move on to the socket chisels and end up with the hand pushed chisels.
Once you get done with that, you can make some scrapers!

That’s one special and unique kind of skill, knowing which tool to use out of the many to produce the outcome.

I was Charlie 3/39th. My brother was Bravo 2/39th.
A friend of mine was Charlie 2/39th.
