I’ve been watching craigslist for the past few months looking for a good deal on a 14” bandsaw. I picked up this Jet JWBS-14CS this weekend for $200. The guy that had it was closing down a welding shop. He had bought this saw to cut UHMW for a job he had. Hardly any signs of wear on the saw. Everything looks pretty much like new. I thought $200 was a deal I couldn’t pass up.

dfarr, congrats, you got a great saw and a great price. If you wanted to, you can install the 6” riiser kit from Grizzly on that saw. I have the same saw set up for resawing. Check out the review on this site for the posting on that riser kit. Nice,

No miter gauge… That’ll cost you in the long run. But the good news is I’ll take it off your hands for $175.

Joking joking. Grats on the great find.

Wow! It looks like it has a few years on it, but is in pristine condition. (kinda like my wife)
