I m looking for ideas or plans for stands for bench top tools. I have a band saw, drill press, belt and disk sander, router table & a grinder. I would like to make a designated stand for eacdj 0f these tools on casters rather than move them to a workbench and have to do a setup and clamp them down. sometimes this is just awkward.

Thanks

Dake

Hi Dale,
Here’s a bench I was going to build, there is alot of other free plans sites that have small wheel around stands and storage underneath, this stand here you can get multiple tools in/on. You can alter it’s size and functions to suit your needs, Alot of work but very fuctional and space saving

Dale,

Here is a link to a picture and information on a tool stand shop cart that I built and has been very useful. You could use one of these for your tools and also gain storage space.

Thanks for the replies.

Mark,
That bench is a little large for what I had in mind. Besides, I wanted to be able to reach the tools from both sides . It did give me an idea fior anoither project I had in mind.

Max, I think that stand will be ideal. I went to the Shop Notes site and the had that plan as a free download.

I’ll get to work this week.

Dale,

I am glad I was able to help. It works really well for me. Make sure you upload a picture of it when you get it completed as a project…
