I looked over and there it was 14999 comments how is it possible. It seems unbelievable to me that i did that much typing.I’m no threat to karson or Scotts record nor do I want to be they are thousands of comments ahead of me the true old timers of LJs ,I don’t think my fingers would last that long. Thanks to all for putting up with my corny sense of humor and impossible spelling. And thanks to Martin for having such a great site with all of the great folks.I’m most gratefull for the many friends I’ve gained all over the world due to this wonderful place called LUMBERJOCKS.

The remarkable thing Jim is that you have 15001 posts now and almost every one of them are positive. That’s what I love about this site. With the way the world seems today, this has become my oasis in a desert of negativity.

Congratulations on your 15000. Your nice comments on about every project has encouraged many people, myself among them. Thank you for being there for us.

I’m not going to try to compete, and must say I enjoy all of the comments I see here. I have learned from just reading. This site has been very successful in all aspects, some just hobby working and some very good professionals. We all should be grateful to guys like Jim that are willing to share information and problem solve. I don’t know where we could get this kind of help, except here. Thankyou each and every one of you for participarion.

Jim, I enjoy reading your comments. They are always insightful and informative. Keep on posting. As far as Karson’s and my “record” goes I didn’t know we were having a posting contest. :) Your fingers are more nimble than mine, so keep on typing away, my friend.

Congratulations, James!
A few months back, I completed and posted a project. Unfortunately, I did that during one of LJ’s monthly or bi-monthly fire fights, when every one was trying to get in the last word on some thread, generally venting… You were the only one to comment and I couldn’t help to notice that you were “holding down the fort” almost single handedly, commenting on every project, giving Attaboys (or Attagirls when appropriate), while the war of words raged on… I wanted to thank you for that… And also for the exemplary patience that you show for those who are just started out on this never-ending journey of discovery. While some may scoff at a person’s first project, you are a wise enough Man to remember that all of us had to learn to walk, before we could run…
Thanks again, Jim for your participation here! And Best Wishes for many, many more postings!!!
