So I started my company “Top Tier Tooling” to start selling Festool products. I love wood working, and have always wanted to do something I love for a profession. I got in contact with Festool, early this year and started the process, they require a minimum order of $25,000 for selling their products, as do most companies.

That is the issue, I do not have that kind of funding available. So i got to thinking about preorders, if I could find enough people who are looking to purchase Festool products, I could potentially get my business rolling forward. I could not offer any kind of a discount because they only allow retailers to sell at the set retail price, however I can offer Free shipping, and to anyone who purchases from me to help me get up and going, I could raffle off my wood working equipment. I have 6 machines

a Powermatic model 180 planer,

Delta 8” jointer,

Powermatic 26 shaper,

Delta shaper,

Jet table saw,

Grizzly table saw,

The only bad part is, contract only allows me to sell to the United States only.

Is this something that can work?

One of the most often reasons companies fail is because of Under capitalization. You probably fix in that category.

You are looking to raffle off your machines – so that you can buy inventory to sell Festool mail order against Woodcraft and Rockler, and many others.

You need to show why someone would order from you INSTEAD of from Woodcraft with a free shipping coupon.
Festool like Sawstop and Apple – do not allow retailers to undercut sales prices of others. Everyone has to sell for the same price tag as you point out in the OP.

I don’t see how that can work out for you. – - how to Draw customers away from existing ‘well known’ stores.
many retailers have free shipping…especially on high dollar items (other than stationary tools)
