Topic tags/keywords: question trick resource

Hey guys I’m new to the site! I’m currently making a cedar indoor/outdoor bar. Which I also added a box for my mini which will eventually turn into a kegerator! Anyways my question is my bar without the top is just under 28 inches wide. My sunroom door is capable of moving something through thats 33 inches wide.

So what I would like to do is make my bar top capable of being detached from the bar, so I can make it as wide as I want. Any body have an idea on how to do this ?

It wouldn’t upload my photo here is a link below.

I would just drop the top onto the base with tenons or a dado, no glue. That should be plenty to keep the top in place and allow easy removal.
