It’s quite a lineup of woodworking legends, and I feel a little out of place, but I am one of the speakers at this year’s big conference and I hope some of you will be there! (That’s me in the upper right corner: James Hamilton) Let me tell you, my class is going to be unlike anything WIA has seen before. It’ll be for regular woodworkers, with regular shops and regular skills- except I’m going to show you how to make your shops WAY BETTER! And we’ll have a surprise for everybody who attends the class! We’re the first one on Friday morning- and don’t worry if you miss one of the other speakers in the same time slot, they will be teaching again later in the conference. But my class is a “be there or miss out” kind of thing…

If you are going to be attending without a full conference pass, please stop by our booth. We’ll have a nice big one full of awesome homemade woodworking machines and jig ideas- and we’re giving away tools from our sponsors every hour for two days!

See the schedule here.

Way to go Stumpy! Don’t be intimidated by those big name guys. I’ll bet that they don’t make to cool tools that you do. They’ll probably try sneaking into your session!

Our boy’s gonna play in the big leagues!
Okay, so you’ve probably already chewed those diva nails of yours and stopped sleeping, but you’ll do great!
Wish I could be there.

Congrats, Stumpy! +1 to Andy’s comment above. Wish I could join you and the rest of the stellar presenters in KCMo in September, but my dance card is already full at that time. Maybe next year.

Saw your name on the list, congrats. I’m planning on being at WWIA, but only Saturday, so will not be able to make your session. Will try to stop by the booth and say Hi, though.

That’s quite an honor, Stumpy. However, I’m not at all surprised. You deserve the honor and have put in a lot of work to get to where you are. You deserve the recognition.
