I have a new reconditioned Delta Unisaw shipping to me. It comes with a NIB (not used) Beis fence and 50” rails. I am 99.9% sure that it is going to be way to big for my shop. Once I get the saw set up I will know if the 50” will be too big. Mine will be NIB and yours must also be. NEW for NEW. I am uncertain what I will be doing with the included extension table so if you would like to trade for that also I am open to any suggestions. I’m not partial to the idea of taking my Sawzall to it to make it fit. That just seems down right wrong. Anyway, I live about 35 miles north of Dallas TX. Send me an email or post here.

Thanks

see if u can send it back to delta co. for the smaller one the side table i would keep just incase or use it as an outfeed table behind the saw dont be affraid to take a saw or router to it its just plywood and laminate and i tell u this with my router takeing up space i need when i can just put it in the side table on my new saw but i want to wait till i get a router lift or something like that i hated the plates for awhile cuz u have to level them so my router is just mted to a pc of ply with a hole cut for different size smaller holes for different router bits but at first i didnt want to cut into it either well if all else fails sell it on ebay and mention the trade in the discription if u still want to get rid of the table let me know?

Got a buddy had the same problem…he just cut the rail off to fit the space which was longer than the lesser fence so he came out ahead of the game.

I’m close by in Grapevine, but if I did that, I’d have the same issue as you. I’ll be upgrading to an Incra TS-LS fence soon, and I’m still worried that the 32” fence will be too long for my space (the Incra takes up more space than normal as it is).

I’ve ordered the shorter rails this weekend. I was tempted to cut them but I figured about the time I did that I would have a need for them so I’ll just have an extra set of rails setting around for now.
