Hi everyone,
I’ve got a birthday coming up and my wife has been informed that I’d appreciate a LN Dovetail saw. Does anyone here know of a retailer in Western Canada that sells Lie-Neilsen’s tools. I’ve found a store in Burnaby called Clermont’s Ultimate Tool Supply but they only carry the tapered dovetail saw and I’m looking for the regular DT saw. Does anyone know another place? (I’ll be in Edmonton, Vancouver, and Calgary in the next few weeks so anywhere around those cities would be best.)

James you may have better luck if you ask the CWW members:

You might want to rethink the tapered dovetail saw. Not so much because of the taper, but because it is considerably thinner. I believe it is about .005 thinner? Easier to start your cuts and faster to cut with the thin plate!
