Hey LJs . ..

There is going to be a project in my future where I will be building and installing interior hardwood stairs and railing. Its going to be a straight run of stairs. Installing the railing is a real mystery to me.

DW did some pricing and the cheapest she could find was $58 per tread + installation. Ouch.

Can anyone provide some insight and\or links into the mysterious subject of stairs and railing.

zuki i got a book along time ago from fine home builders mag. that had about every thing you would need to know . good luck
