Topic tags/keywords: drum sander supermax tool

I have a used, 37×2 Performax double drum sander for sale that I purchased used myself about a year ago. It has a 5 hp single phase 220 volt American made motor driving the drums and a small variable speed motor that runs the conveyor drive. The conveyor belt is a little worn on one edge in about 1” but works fine. A new belt is available online for under $100. I bought the mobile caster set and installed to make it easy to roll around the shop. Overall, this is in good shape. I replace the abrasive clamps at each end of the drums and installed a new infeed hold-down roller as the old one was a little worn. There is an assortment of new abrasive rolls that will be included as they fit nothing else I have. I already owned a 16” Bridgewood wide belt sander but wanted to be able to sand faceframes and wider doors too in our small cabinet shop. I have now purchased a 37” widebelt to replace both of these and the Bridgewood is sold. This model sells new for well over $5000.00, I am asking $2,200.00 or B.O. I can place it on a pallet if needed. jbishopdesign@hotmail.com

Seems I can’t send messages until I have made more posts, so to anyone contacting me, I do still have sander. If it’s easier to contact me by e-mail, jbishopdesign@hotmail.com. I am located south of Syracuse, NY. The price is a little negotiable but no low balls please.
