Topic tags/keywords: blade tablesaw fence t2 accusquare

I got my new saw today. I bought a Delta 36-714 second hand in good condition. There is a little bit of rust on the table top however nothing serious. I will search how people manage to clean that up.

So now I have a saw that will perform well and 2 really cool fences.

When I was negociating for the price, I thought $500 was to high for the saw, he told me he had another fence he previously purchased. He did not even remember which fence it was. In the unopened box was an Accusquare M-1040. He also included a carpentry freud Diablo (thin kerf) and another thin kerf blade in very bad shape, many pieces of hard wood, a magnifier lamp, some industrial casters, all for $500. I think I made a good deal. Anyway I am a happy camper this evening.

I had to dismantled the saw in order to put it in my car (mazda3) and managed to put it in my basement. That was a lot of efforts.

I will rewire the saw for 220V and clean it up in the following weeks and try the T2 and the Accusquare. Both of them looks very solid fences. Happy man :)

PS: This is an upgrade from a Ridgid 4512. I think I will really notice the difference between the 2 saws. On the plus side I sold my ridgid for 15% less than what I paid for all mentioned above. Good day

Congrats on the new saw. I had a T2 on my old Cman and it made a huge difference on the saw’s performance send pics when you get it set up.
