Topic tags/keywords: veneering question drawing marquetry

I have worked long and hard on the mechanics of marquetry. I must not be using the correct side of my brain for drawing. I cannot make good looking drawings. I can trace things, but if I want to add or change something to make it work better I cannot get it to work. I tried books for learning, and got nowhere.

Any talented artists that want to draw for money? Any other suggestions? Maybe there is a book I haven’t seen that will allow me to do simple flowers and leaves that look at least sort of real.

Thanks for the help.

Marco-

Perhaps I could help but I won’t know for sure until I know more details. If you want to explore the potential send me an email and if you can include an image of your own attempts.

btw the right/left brain model hasn’t held up under testing preformed with brain scans, if interested, more can be found here
