A few months ago I think my local Woodcraft had one in stock. If not it was the other low-end (ie: less than a thousand bucks) powered respirator. I was generally not impressed. Instead I wear a standard activated carbon filter respirator, and got a set of powered goggles for $70 from my local Paintball store. The goggles have what looks to me like the same level of filtering as the powered respirator setup I looked at at the store (ie: a fan blowing through some foam), but this way my lungs get a much better level of filtering. For a lot less money. Not that I don’t lust after the starting at $1200 3M setup… -- Dan Lyke, Petaluma California, http://www.flutterby.net/User:DanLyke |

Triton has gone out of business. They haven’t been available in Aust for a while. Still see some on e-bay. -- Vic |

Wow, I did not know that. I still see some routers listed in some catalogs. -- Jerry--A man can never have enough tools or clamps |

Triton is not out of business. The Australian company is still producing their products, as far as I know. HTC Products ( http://www.htcproductsinc.com/ ) is now the North American distributor, as well as technical and tool warranty support. |

My apologies Gmc ( parent company of triton) went into receivership Dec 2008. After restructuring and reorganising in much of 2009, they seem to have the triton workcenter and acc for sale again. I haven’t seen any power tools for sale in my part of Aust. They have new in the box power tools on E-bay, which are left overs from before the receivership. -- Vic |
