So my grandpa has an older grizzly 2hp air filter system but the problem is I live in military housing and do not have the correct electrical receptacle for it… Is there any way I can run an extension cord from my washer/dryer hookup to my unit in my garage? My laundry room is right off the garage.

If your griz is 240v, and your dryer is a pretty standard 240v@30A circuit, then you absolutely can. But be prepared to be deluged by wire sizes, outlet/plug recommendations and other details that folks around here love to argue about :)

Cheers,
Brad

you can purchase a 220v rv extension cord or make an extension cord with some 10/3 or 8/3 wire and the Correct plugs.

Thank you all for the input I am glad I will be able to run it. I am no electrician by any means so I hope your suggestions and some YouTube videos will do.

Thanks for your service to our country. My son was stationed out at ft Carson a few years ago. Went to visit him and didn’t want to come home. Absolutely beautiful out there.
