Topic tags/keywords: tip question tablesaw

Just bought the Dewalt 7480 table saw and now looking to replace the factory throat plate with a zero clearance, but it looks like they’ve got one for just about every model except for mine. The closest I’ve come to is the leecraft dw-2 throat plate for other DW models (744 & 746) that look very similar to the 7480, but just wanted to ask if i should try it out or if there’s something out there i’m missing.

cheers

What you are missing is that you should make your own. easy and cheap.

Good luck

I’ve got the 7490X and they haven’t come out with a zero clearance yet. Dewalt came out with a dado insert a while back but you’ll have to make your own zero clearance for now.

Have your say...
