Having a little trouble locating parts.
I have a c.1900 model I need to do some final finishing and acquire a few parts to make it a complete tool.

I recently pulled it out, tuned up a few blades, and tried using it (not extremely impressed) but it just doesn’t seem to fit my hands too well. Not ready to give up on it quite yet, though.

Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will comment, but using it just a little bit, I don’t see the usefullness of the knob, and I am skeptical about a plane with no mouth. I’m guessing its usefullness is restricted to straight grained wood. I’m gonna give a few more shots but I’ll probably sell it.

I’m in need of:

1 nicker & screw
set of short rods
tote knob (threaded type)

Go to ebay, there is a “store” called nhplaneparts.com

Eric usually has a few HUNDRED plane parts, mainly Stanley parts. You can even leave a message, telling him what you need.

I have a plow I use with cypress quite a bit. Not exactly the most straight grained wood.
