FYI to anyone within driving distance of Indianapolis.

Lie-Nielsen is putting on a hand tool event at the Herron School of Art. Admission is free. Check Christopher Schwarz blog and the Lie-Nielsen website for more details. I plan on going up Saturday. Hand tool use and sharpening demos during the day for free. I can’t wait!!

Thanks for the info, it sounds pretty sweet. After reading the blog, it sounds like a lot more than just Lie-Nielsen will be there. Benchcrafted, Andrew Lunn from Eccentric Toolworks, and George Walker from the staff of Marc Adams School of Woodworking.

I would love to make it. I will just have to see, I was gone all last weekend to to Chicago to see my daughter run in the Chicago Marathon (GLOAT) so I have some things to catch up on here. A lot of Christmas presents to work on in the shop. But who knows…
