Topic tags/keywords: setup table saw table saw fence fence system question

Just a little advice being saught here:

I just purchased a Delta Fence for my Craftsman TS. After getting everything out of the box, I’ve noticed the holes for the bolts don’t line up. So, I’m obviously going to have to do some major modifications.

Should I drill new holes through the edge of the TS top?
- or -
Should I drill new holes through the front and rear mounting brackets?

Thoughts?

Lynden, thanks for the tip. I read through that blog and it seems to be just what I need. I’ll try and help out a bit with that and put some pics up of my progress so that we have some visuals with the instructions.
