Want suggestions. Also exactly how to remove the table so it is not used for lifting.

Remove the table, I think it is held on with 2 bolts from underneath. Unbolt the saw assembly from the stand. Unbolt the motor from the stand if it is still too unwieldy. Have a friend help.

I have the 28-245 (same thing), and when I looked at it I think BJ is correct….remove the trunnion bolts, and the table should lift right off. If that’s not the case, the table is only held to the trunnion saddles with 3 bolts on each one.

Don’t mess with the trunnion bolts… just remove the tilt adjustment handwheels and the table pops right off.
