I have just completed the assembly of my Sawstop Professional Cabinet saw and am glowing with pride of ownership.
The instruction manual shows a 4” adapter for the dust port which has an additional 1½” outlet to allow for an additional hose to vent the blade guard.

Has anyone got a clue where such an adapter might be obtained?

The only way that I can see to do this is to either hook up two separate dust collectors, i.e. shop vac and shop dust collector, or hook up a y fitting similar to this one from Rockler. The branch from to the blade guard will need a reducer to take it from a 4” diameter to a 1 1/2” . At least that is what I am planning at this stage unless someone has a better idea.

Another thing that could work is to go to your local sheet metal shop and ask them to fab something up for you, I needed a few custom fittings a few months ago and one of the local sheet metal shops did it for a very reasionable price, its worth checking out.
