I was wondering if anyone have any ideas for a dust collector for a makita 2040 planer

Mine has shop made connection that goes to our dust collection system. I don’t remember how it’s made, I made it a lot of years ago. I can take a photo tomorrow if that will help.

This is made from 4” galvanized duct with a pvc cap. I’ve blocked the front opening with a piece of Masonite which I’ve partially pulled out in the photo. The hole in the pvc cap is to keep shavings from collecting in the end.
