Woodworker’s Journal sent out an email recently advertising the Branford Group’s pending auction of the assets of Agenco, a custom fixture manufacturer. I’ve registered for the auction and there’s some pretty interesting stuff. I’m wondering if anyone has had dealings with this type of auction. It’s in Quebec and I’m in WashDC, so shipping is something of a mystery. I contacted a Brandfor rep by email and they provide the contact for a rigging/shipping company to gather, box, and ship your items. If I was looking for a full-on table saw for $500 less than retail and spent $200 on shipping, it’s a great deal. but if I’m just planning on buying a couple hand-held power tools and some other miscellany like clamps, is this going to be worth it?
