Topic tags/keywords: introduction cnc router cnc novice kentucky

I am a retired guy, 57, who has a couple of hobby shops on my property. I am here to (hopefully) learn from the pros, and avoid costly mistakes.

Among the many tools, is a Samson 510 CNC table. It is actually a plasma cutting table, but I have a router mounted where the plasma cutter would normally be found.

Here is a link to a FLICKR.COM photo album, to show you some of the fun “beginner” projects I have done. I am pushing the machine, to see WHAT ELSE it can do, besides cutting metal.

Enjoy!

A lot of interesting photos, but I have to admit the jumbled presentation of products of the CNC mixed in with the other photos kind of messed up the flow of the presentation.

Well, it really isn’t a “presentation.” It is the evolution of the machine, from a thing in a crate to a machine in a room, along with the experiments that I have done with it so far. I really haven’t delved into it as I would like yet. This is all just … “I wonder if it can …”
