What I will tell you is that it’s used with Laminate.
Note the angle cut of the tooth.

It is a six tooth fligger cutter. Most are only 5 toothed, but yours seems to be a special design. I use ‘em mostly when cutting multiple fliggers in WilsonArt laminates. Fliggers are soooo neat.

I would say that the 45 degree angle is set with a guide to put a back bevel on the edge of the laminate for a 90 degree face and the 22 1/2 degree is flipped over and adjusted for 45 degree edges. The blade is inset into the base of the tool so as to have one bevel functioning at a time.

I thought it was a slot cutter for “T” moldings. ? That’s my best guess, or it could be a fligger cutter, or a Sizz wheel or the latest in hemorrhoid removal. LOL

Charles has it right. (must of used one before) :)

This is used to make mitre folds on laminate doors. By 45ing all the edges it eliminates the black lines normally associated with laminate. (even the corners come out mitered)
It is great for laminates that have designs or stripes, it lets the stripes roll right over the sides.
I had a router table that had 2 routers set into a fence. The first router trimmed the laminate to the correct overhang and the second cut the 45.
1st step is to glue the laminate to the substrate,
then you tape the face of the laminate (around the edge where the cut is going to be)
The depth of the cutter is set to go through the laminate but not the tape. After you run the doors on all 4 sides you just glue the edges and fold them up, the tape keeps everything lined up perfect.
This makes laminating doors much quicker than the old way of doing 2 sides, doing the other 2 sides, sanding the top flush, gluing and sticking the top, routing and filing the edges.

There are different bits for the different thicknesses of laminate. That’s the reason for the short side of the cutter tooth.
