Topic tags/keywords: question tablesaw I have a craftsman 10 table saw and the fence is just not cutting it any more (pardon the pun)! I’ve heard a lot of good things about Beisemeyer and Vega… Thoughts, advice, etc…? -- -Spencer, Gilbert Az (http://www.azwoodshop.com) |

I think you could replace the saw for what a good fence will cost. I prefer Beisemeyer fences. -- Jim from Heirloom Woodshop, custom furniture maker, woodworking school, heirloomwoodshop.com |

Incra makes a very nice fence for table saws and the price is not that bad. I ahve a full review of their TSLS fence system at the link below with lots of photos and a video if that would help. -- Tom Hintz, www.newwoodworker.com |

I have the Vega fence on my Powermatic Artisan 63a saw that I got in 1988. It has never given me a problem. Adjusted it when I installed it in 1988. Checked it again in 1995 when My Father in-law and I started a large project for the kids. It was off by 1/128th of an inch. adjusted it and it has work fine. http://www.vegawoodworking.com/ Starting at $289 Dave |

SPENCER I really like my Incra fence system. I have their older model The TS3A that’s been on 2 saws and is very easy to install. Their new model is even better. With repeatability and accuracy your saw will transform into a new machine. here are some utube links of the new system 3 part demo. Check these out if you haven’t seen them. -- The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man's determination. - Tommy Lasorda |

If cost is a factor, you might look at Shop Fox. I bought a ShopFox Classic for a little over $200 a few months ago and have been very happy with it. -- The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary. -- Vincent T. Lombardi |

Might want to consider this. Don’t know how the funds are but this is a good price and saw. Dave |

Back in November I found the Vega U26 on Amazon for $212 with free shipping. Actually makes my 10” Craftsman a pleasure to use. |

I did some google searches on the fence systems that you all recommended and although I’d love to drop $400 on a nice new Incra (those youtube demo videos are amazing!) I found my way to “Mule Cabinetmaker’s” website and the price was way to inviting to pass up. I hope it doesnt turn out to be a waste of money… As a prelimenary review… their customer service has been awesome so far. I called the number on their website and spoke with a very helpful and knowledgeable guy (Ken was his name). I asked a bunch of questions and finally settled on the accusquare 1050 ($189 including tax and S&H!) I’ll post a full review once it comes. They said it should be a week… Thanks so much my fellow lumberjocks! Spencer -- -Spencer, Gilbert Az (http://www.azwoodshop.com) |
