I have a Sawstop 5ph 3 ph ICS. for sale. For those who don’t know, it’s the largest of the 3 models.
It has the 52” fence and extention table. I also have another new fence for it. Sawstop says that yes you can run these from a phase converter. I’m in New Hampshire. $2900.00
Thanks
Dave

The Saw STop is the best TS I ever purchased, bought one for my Dad 2 yrs ago and it saved his fingers on 3 occasions. He’s getting into his laste 70’s and I noticed he wasn’t as sharp as he used to be so I bought him a SAw stop and told him either he uses this TS or I lock him out or he needed to come and do all his TS work at my shop so I could keep an eye on him. In Case non of you know but should you trip the brake with any part of your h and, finger, or other body parts Saw Stop will replace the brake for free, there’s a short forum to fill out and send inalong with the used brake, once they analysis the brake and determine it was a bosy part they will ship you a new replacement.

sawstop is the coolest thing to come along since wood itself but why would they replace the brake for free?

They say they do ongoing research/improvement, and they use the data from the fired cartridges’ “black box”. It’s an incentive not to just chuck it in the trash.

Plus, a new $80 cartridge and a grateful customer vs. a potential lawsuit (merited or not): which will the smart businessman choose?

if so, then i would hope they have some kind of rules in place of how many go out to each person?
otherwise a person could show all his friends how it works and keep sending it in for a new one.

Good point. I don’t know. Of course, each time it trips also means a new blade, so maybe they’re counting on that to limit “experiments”.

And speaking of showing friends, the guy at Woodcraft told me they make demo cartridges to send to retailers. They’re programmed to allow only an hour’s worth of use, or something like that.
